Pengembangan Sistem Informasi SaveBite sebagai Platform Distribusi Produk Surplus Berbasis Mobile Menggunakan Pendekatan User-Centered Design
Abstract
Food waste merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang masih banyak terjadi di sektor pangan dan memberikan dampak negatif terhadap aspek ekonomi, sosial, maupun lingkungan. Di sisi lain, banyak UMKM makanan dan minuman mengalami kerugian akibat produk yang tidak terjual meskipun masih layak konsumsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan memvalidasi SaveBite, sebuah sistem informasi berbasis mobile yang mendukung distribusi produk surplus secara lebih cepat, aman, dan berbasis lokasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan User-Centered Design (UCD) yang meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan pengguna, perancangan sistem, pengembangan prototype, serta pengujian usability. Fitur utama yang dikembangkan meliputi pencarian produk berbasis radius lokasi, dashboard seller, countdown produk, QR Pickup Verification, serta sistem rating dan ulasan. Validasi dilakukan melalui usability testing dan A/B testing dengan melibatkan tiga kelompok pengguna, yaitu mahasiswa, konsumen peduli lingkungan, dan pelaku UMKM. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan penyelesaian tugas sebesar 100%, sementara hasil A/B testing menunjukkan bahwa desain dashboard yang berfokus pada katalog produk lebih disukai pengguna karena lebih sederhana dan mudah digunakan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SaveBite memiliki potensi sebagai solusi digital untuk membantu mengurangi food waste sekaligus mendukung distribusi makanan surplus yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.
